MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Abide by all local league and national affiliation rules.

  2. Abide by all Armstrong Athletics Rules.

  3. Follow all rules regarding clearances.

  4. Infor coaching staff of all above-mentioned rules.

  5. Equipment: distribute, maintain and collect.

  6. All managers must sign out their equipment at the beginning of the season and sign in their equipment at the end of the season.  Failure to return equipment on the designated day (deemed by the Equipment Manager) by a manager or member of the manager’s staff will result in a $50 fee being owed to Armstrong Athletics.

  7. Contact the scheduler in the event of rainouts.

  8. Fundraising: inform players/parents, distribute materials, collect monies, keep records, oversee activities.

  9. Participate in all league-required activities: meetings, workdays, field prep, field maintenance, clean-up duties, etc.

  10. Promote sportsmanship and fair play at all times while respecting all umpires’ decisions.

  11. Promote Armstrong Athletics in a positive manner and handle all issues through the proper channels.

  12.  Follow all game day protocols.
